My Story
One of the questions you might have is, ‘What is the best way to prepare for my retirement?’
If there is one piece of advice I could give to you, it is to plan ahead.
One weekday, when I was just fifteen years old, I woke up to a house full of people. I learned from my mother that my father, at the age of 39, had died the night before in a tragic car accident. I had many unanswered questions at that time, and from that day many things changed in our family.
My mother had to become the full-time breadwinner for our family overnight. We were used to coming home and hearing Mom’s voice to welcome us. But after Dad died, we would come home to an empty house until Mom came home from work. I think that was the hardest part of it all.
Mom eventually made a wonderful life for herself, but the stress of providing weighed on her immensely.
Looking back, I often imagine what Mom’s life could have been like had Mom and Dad did even some basic planning to prepare for the unexpected; to prepare for the day when she would one day retire so she could enjoy her life to the fullest and do the things she loved most.
My life experiences have taught me the importance of planning. Life is full of great moments, but it is not without difficult ones. By planning for the unknowable future, we can be prepared for what is to come. If we had the time to meet today, I would ask you to tell me about your story, and I know you have one to share.
I have seen firsthand why it is important to prepare for the future. That is why I have dedicated my life to helping others achieve the confidence that comes with planning for their financial future. If you would like to sit down with me to discuss your financial future, please set an appointment. I cannot wait to hear your story.
