What does financial freedom mean to you?

What does financial freedom mean to you?

When my wife and I were raising our small children we had a beautiful tree growing in our front yard. Out of the blue one day, the tree died. It was at that time that I decided that I would remove the tree and plant a new lawn. As I began clearing the tree, I soon discovered many roots burrowed deep beneath the surface. After many hours of physical labor, the roots were removed and the grass seed was laid.

I share this story with you too, because all of us have "dead tree roots" or obstacles that stand in our way. The takeaway here is that unless you identify the financial obstacles (or as I like to call them the dead tree roots) that exist you’ll only continue experiencing more of the same.
